Haji Mammadov: "I warned about the attempt of terrorist act"

Defendant Aslanbek Kentmairov answered questions on the kidnapping of Zamira Hajiyeva, International Bank of Azerbaijan Managing Staff chief Jahangir Hajiyev's wife. He said they did not put any physical pressure on Zamira while kidnapping her, "She was shocked when we kidnapped her."

Defendant Haji Mammadov answered questions on his still leading an unarrested gang, "I have told that as an official, I had friends no matter officials and common persons in Azerbaijan and abroad. Who could have imagined that I was leading a great crime?"

Haji stressed he has many times warned about attempt to terrorist acts and got furious when lawyers and public prosecutors ignored this.

"The participants of that terrorist act are here. I was interrogated at the National Security Ministry related to the murder of journalist Elmar Huseynov. The Ministry and trial did not inquire about the attempt to terrorist act."

Defendant Kentamirov said he was unaware of the plant of terrorist act in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
