Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

The testimonies of the victims to the investigation were read again. It should be noted that, some of them sent telegrams to the court and said that confirm their testimonies to the investigation.

Public prosecutors read IBA Administrative staff's chief Jahangir Hajiyev's wife Zamire Hajiyeva's testimony to the investigation. "I visited beauty beauty shop once in a week. It was necessary to be registered before going there. I should be in at 5 on February 10, 2005, but I was late for 15 minutes. Javahir, cosmetologist was working on me and suddenly somebody phoned her and she began answering the questions. After brief talk she came back and continued her work. When I got out of the beauty shop, the weather was getting dark and as I came to my car four men came up to me. One of them made me get in the car and put handcuffs on my arms by putting sack on my head. On the way, the man said we would not do anything to you; we will get money from your husband and release you. They asked my husband's phone number, I told that my husband does not answer the unknown numbers and gave his driver Aydin's number. On the way they changed the car and I felt that it was Jeep. During my detention period first they gave me to eat three times, then two times. They told me that my husbands work with NSM and stated if he does not give them $ 5m they would send him my cut finger. On March 2, the man came up to me and said the editor-in-chief of Monitor newspaper Elmar Huseynov was killed. I said that my case does not have any relation to the case, he noted my case was discussed in the meeting of NSM," she said.

Then the testimonies of Ogtay Babayev's father, Sabir Babayev, Mejid Mammadov and Afag Melikova's were read.

The trial will be continued in the second part of the day, APA reports.
