Azeri Greco-Roman wrestlers win five medals

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers brought home five medals of the international tournament, which pitted about 250 athletes from Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus and Tajikistan against each other in Tver, Russia.

The eight-man Azeri team's best result was posted by Orhan Jabbarli (42 kg) who beat all his foes to mount the highest step on the podium.

Azerbaijan's silver medal came from Farhad Aydinli (46 kg), whilst Taryel Mammadov (46 kg), Farid Agayev (54 kg) and Zaur Islamzade (76 kg) had to be satisfied with bronze.

Azerbaijan ranked third in the team event. AzerTAg
