Court-Law Council punishes 22 judges in 2006

This year, Court-Law Council punishes 22 judges, the council told.

During the operations in courts it was found out that those judges had some irregularities, they were indifferent to citizen's appeals, did not obey labour and execution disciplines. It was put an end to Khatai Court Judge Isgender Gasimov's activity.

Sabunchu court Judge Arzu Abulhesenov was dismissed because of irregularities in his activity. Binagadi Court judge Zoya Aliyeva and Khatai Court judge Isgender Gasimov were held accountable.

Narimanov Court judges Muslum Aliyev, Liliya Mavrina, the deputy chief of Economic Court for Disputes over International Treaties Rasim Huseynov, the judge of the same court Afag Nuriyeva, Binagadi Court judges Ahmed Sariyev, Madina Bagirova, Yasamal Court judges Shahin Abdullayev, Melahet Abdulmanafova, Nuzami Court judge Svetlana Ehmediova, Grievous Crimes Court judges Azer Orujov, Hasan Ahmedov, Faig Gasimov, Ganja city Nizami court judge Aliyar Gurbanov, Mingechevir Court Judge Mubariz Mammadov, Shusha Court Judge Ismiyar Ismayilli, Fizuli-Gubadli Military Court judge Elnur Jebiyev, judges of Court of Appeals Alekber Guliyev, Asif Allahverdiyev and Ilgar Demirov were punished.

The criminal cases launched against the judges Court of Appeals Tatyana Goldman and Ismayil Valiyev was put an end, APA reports.

Generally, CLC began to carry out 59 disciplines about judges within the half year. As the result, 40 judges were punished, and it was put an end to the activity of two judges.
