TURKSOY's temporary Director General elected

The person, whose name is not announced, will lead the organization for six months. The name of the man will be announced in the press conference to be held 18.30 by local time (20.30 by Baku time). TURKSOY's permanent Director General will be elected in the next meeting of the organization to be held in Kazakhstan. The candidacies of Turkish ex-minister of Culture Namig Kamal Zeybek and Kyrgyzstan's writer Chingiz Aytmatov were put up. Kazakhstan has no candidates. Turkmenistan is represented in the event on the level of embassy. Uzbekistan has neither sent a delegation, nor is represented on the level of embassy.

As TURKSOY's Director General Polad Bulbuloglu did not participate in the meeting permanent Director General was not elected. But he expressed his intention of resign from his post, APA Turkish bureau reports.
