Huseyn Bagirov: "Bird flu virus was not confirmed"

"The fact about bird flu among the migrant birds was not confirmed during the monitoring held by Ecology and Resources Ministry," Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Huseyn Bagirov told journalists.

The Minister told that monitoring continues, APA reports.

"The suppositions that there is bird flu virus in the birds with strong immunity last year, was not confirmed. The birds died of disease were also not found in the neighboring countries, especially in Russia and Kazakhstan," he said.
