Bronze bas-relief put on late journalist Samir Esgerkhanov's grave stolen

The stealers did not touch the graves of his relatives next to his. Deputy Chief of Yasamal Police Department #28 Valeddin Sultanov told the APA that they have no information about the precedent. He said that if journalist's family appeals to the department, they will conduct investigation.

"It was not possible to monitor the territory as the incident happened late. Tomorrow our officers will investigate the case," he said.

Asgerkhanov died in 1998 and buried in Yasamal grave-yard. He worked for a long time in AzTV as commentator and was author of the programs about Armenian terrors. NSM awarded him prize.
