Weather in west regions of Azerbaijan worsened

Ganja Regional Emergencies and Civil Defense Department (GRECDD) instructed fire-fighting, communication, gas, power and traffic departments to be on alert.

The speed of North wind will be 30-35m/s on the night January 29 to 30. Ganja hydrometeorological department told the APA that the temperature fell by 8-10 degrees. Sleet and snow is forecasted. The speed of West wind will be 20-25m/s.

Strong wind destroyed the roofs of the houses, schools in Geranboy, and left Boyukgishlaq, Geribler, Yanigli villages of Tovuz without electricity. The snow fall is 10-15sm in Tovuz, Gazakh, Gadabey, Khanlar and Dashkesen.
