Pathological material taken from 37 wild fowls, 38 poultries and blood samples taken form 690 poultries were analyzed in Republic Veterinary Laboratory. No bird flu virus was fund in these samples.
The second monitoring started on January 29. The monitoring will finish on February 6. The monitoring will be conducted with participation of experts of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, Health Ministry as well as Hunters Society in the parks and reserves in Absheron peninsula, Pirallahi, Devechi, Salyan, Agjabadi and Lenkeran and seaside zones.
State Veterinary Service considers it important to keep poultries in close places, and ban hunting, sale and use of migrant and wild fowls. But despite this, during the raids in the village Gumbashi of Lenkeran and village Tezekend of Masalli it was discovered that the limits are not observed. Poachers continue hunting and sale of wild fowls. State Veterinary Service states that hunting wild fowls is banned and there may be bird flu in the products made from them. APA
