Azerbaijan to join Military Olympics

Azerbaijan intends to host World Military Boxing Championship to be held in 2008, head of Central Army Sporting Club Natig Aliyev stated.

He said CASC has already addressed to the International Military Sport Organization (CISM) on the issue.

CISM leadership positively appreciated our intention to host the world championship. The final decision will be made in a few months.

Our sportsmen will join the Olympic Games to be held on October 14-22 in Hyderabad, India.

He said that 7000 sportsmen from 100 countries are going to participate in the event. Azerbaijan will be represented in seven disciplines.
