Azeri handball squad wins 9 games in Ukraine

Azerbaijan handball squad has returned to the country after a 10-day training camp in Ukraine.

Coach Rafiga Shabanova told APA-Sport the team won 9 friendly matches of 11 with the local clubs in Lvov, Ternopol and Kiev. The team drew one encounter and lost one more. Azeri squad also beat Ukrainian junior team.

This was team's first visit abroad under the leadership of Ukrainian head coach Georgi Voronov. Coaches put promising players in test during the camp.
