Kur's level to go down soon

The level of Kur River is to fall due to the nonsludging weather in Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Asif Verdiyev Head of Hydrological Department Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told due to the intensive rains in Georgia the level of Kur was 484cm but it raised by 510cm in the evening.

Today in the early hours the level of Kur raised to 490cm. Intensity of flow is 1305 cub meter in seconds, APA reports.

According to Asif Verdiyev the excessive water of the Kur is now passed to Shamkir water reservoir. The fall of water level is being observed in the down part of Kur.

Kur's Sabirabad part's level went down 2 cm and Neftchala part 4 cm. Salyan part of Kur showed no water level fall.

Asif Verdiyev said in the context of stabile weather and temperature rise the water will rise in the rivers of Caucasus.
