Azerbaijani Jewish Community heads and Russian Orthodox Church's bishop visit newly-found mass graves in Guba

Sheikhulislam told journalists human remains in the graves belonged to Azerbaijanis massacred by Armenians in 1918 and recommended not to bury the remains.

He said that the remains should be buried due to national traditions only after the real facts on mass graves will be publicized.

Pashazade, head of Azerbaijani Mountain Jewish Community Semyon Ikhiilov, Gennadi Zelmanovich, head of the Ashkenazi Jewish community and bishop of Russian Orthodox Church in Baku Father Constantine also visited the mass graves.

Zelmanovich stated that all of the executed people are Azerbaijanis irrespective of nationality and religion, and they are victims of genocide. APA
