Elchin Behbudov meets with Mirza Sakit and Mushfig Medetov

Mirza Sakit kept in the medical center of Justice Ministry Penitentiary Service on May 5, the committee chief told the APA. The prisoner was not dissatisfied with detention conditions.

"Mirza Sakit is being cured for his nerves and health problems. I refuted the reports about his beating in the detention place," he said.

Behbudov also met with Mushfig Medetov, former chief of Nizami district police office kept in detention place #9. Medetov was dissatisfied with the decision of the court commuting his 11-year imprisonment by 7 years.

"He said he is innocent and wants acquittal," he said.

Behbudov said Medetov will appeal to European Court of Human Rights.
