Azeri envoy to Georgia congratulates WWII veterans upon 62nd VE anniversary

Azerbaijan's ambassador to Georgia Namig Aliyev congratulated WWII veterans in Vake Park, Tbilisi upon the 62nd anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany. The ambassador garlanded on the tomb of Unknown Soldier in the park.

APA's Georgia bureau reports Ambassador Aliyev emphasized the special importance of this day. "The main thing is that we should live in peace," he said.

Georgian parliament president Nino Burjanadze and ambassadors to Georgia also garlanded on the tomb of Unknown Soldier in Tbilisi.
