Days of Ukrainian culture start in Azerbaijan

"We will continue a good tradition of holding days of Ukrainian culture in Azerbaijan. A group from Ukraine to include popular artist of Ukraine Vasili Chelepuk and honored artist of Ukraine Mikhail Lazuka will arrive in Baku on September 5.

Concerts of cultural figures of Ukraine will be held in the regions in the framework of the days of the Ukrainian culture in Azerbaijan.

A folklore group, including Alla Peyda and Vladislav Surdima will arrive in Baku on September 5. They will give concerts in Karadagh, Sumgayit and Baku. The concerts will be free of charge", said Klimchuk at a press conference Thursday.

The ambassador also said that his country is working at the visit of popular artist of Ukraine Ivan Popovits, who is a good friend of Polad Bul Bul oghlu and Azerbaijan, to Baku.
