A policeman who made prisoners have sexual intercourse, may be sentenced to 6,5 years

The Court of Grave Crimes has held a hearing on the case of former senior authorized agent on combat with drug trafficking of the Geranboy region police station Rafael Nazarov.
He is accused of taking big bribes.

According to Day.Az, the court is presided by judge Mansur Ibayev.

The prosecutor made an accusation speech at the process, demanding to find Nazarov guilty under article 311 (bribing) and sentence him to 6.6 years in prison.

Under the materials of the case, in September of 1998 police captain Rafael Nazarov took bribes from persons, suspected in the sale and transportation of drugs after which he released them.

Moreover, Rafael Nazarov made the detained to undress and have sexual intercourse with each others. This method was used to get due testimonies to reveal other persons, associated with this case.

He is charged under articles 311.3.3 (getting big bribes), 309 (abuse of powers), 145 (illegal detainment of a person) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
