He said the Foreign ministry submitted a letter to the court with a request to dismiss the claim.
"Considering the said request, the court decided to dismiss the claim of editor-in-chief of Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper Eynulla Fatullayev", noted Ashurov.
It should be noted that the reason for the appeal to the court was that Minister Mamedyarov did not respond to the information request, sent by Isakhan Ashurov.
On the basis of the appeal of Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov a criminal case has been instituted against editor-in-chief of Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper Eynulla Fatullayev.
The appeal says that after publication of the article "Aliyevs go to war", the foreigners and entrepreneurs, residing in Azerbaijan, voiced concern about this issue.
In this connection, Fatullatev sent an appeal to Mamedyarov with a request to submit to him a list of persons, who voiced their concern. But no response has been received.
