Activists of the movement for rights of South Azerbaijanis, several students of the literature faculty of one of the Tehran universities are holding a sitting action, reports Day.Az with reference to Mediaforum.

As is reported, today the Ettelaat officials beat the students and then drove them away from the university.

A year ago Sadig Shudjai, Mehdiya Gulru, Seid Feyzullazade and Mejid Dorri was driven away from the university as they were protesting against the shutdown of student organizations and printed editions under the university, as well as the dismissal of dissident teachers and so on.

During the sitting action they demanded to restore their rights for education. The action will continue unless the students' demands are fulfilled.
