Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies to license services on biometrical technologies

Day.Az reports with reference to the Ministry that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to introduce amendments to the "List of types of activity, requiring a special license and the amount of state duty, established to get a special permission on these types of activity", confirmed by decree No 782 of September 2 of 2002 about improvement of the rules of issuance of a special permission (license) for some types of activity.

After additions are applied, a separate paragraph of the document says that a license for creation and provision of services on biometrical technologies is issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.

The state tariffs for a license are set in the amount of AZN 2,200.
