Several soldiers and officers held accountable in connection with bullying

"Nobody can claim that humiliation is a characteristic case for Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

I say it decisively", Khanlar Valiyev, Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor told journalists, APA reports. Valiyev stated that there were rare cases on humiliation and additional measures were taken by Military Prosecutor’s Office, as well as proper armed forces commands to prevent "bullying". Military Prosecutor underlined that criminal case had been launched on footages spread in internet on "bullying" and several soldiers and officers were held accountable.

"Not only criminals, but officers of several military units bear responsibility for this case. Criminal case has been launched for abuse of duty, as well as creation of condition for crimes. There are aspects characterized the word "bullying" and it does not occur in Azerbaijani Army. Behaviors of soldiers with one another cannot be meant as "bullying". Young contingent of army should be taken into account. There are several arguments between them and sometimes use physical forces to each other. There are many criminal cases on these facts", he said.
