Pardon decree likely to be signed in Azerbaijan

The Pardon Commission under President begins to hold meetings, the commission told APA.
Pardon department of the President’s Office told the commission members to prepare for the meeting. The commission’s meetings are expected to begin today or tomorrow. The commission will hold regular meetings by the end of December and the appeals in connection with pardoning will be submitted to the head of state.

The next pardon decree will be likely signed on the occasion of December 31 – Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis.

The recent pardon decree was signed on August 26 this year. The decree was applied to 96 prisoners.
