"Nearly six thousand Azerbaijani pilgrims have gone to Hajj this year. There are several problems on pilgrimage", Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-al-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh said at the meeting of CMO today, APA reports.
He noted that these problems were linked with that they did not work with pilgrims well before pilgrimage.
"The pilgrims should be educated and well experienced before leaving for Hajj. We should make them go to Hajj, not to trade. Unfortunately, sometimes it happens the other way round", he said.
Pashazadeh underlined that pilgrims should appeal to akhunds functioning in regions and they should be educated before the next pilgrimage.
