Marriages exceed divorces by 10 times in Azerbaijan last year

79 900 marriages were registered in Azerbaijan during 2008, compared to 7 900 divorces, said the State Statistical Committee.
According the top body, the numbers of both marriages and divorces per 1 000 people were on decline last year.

The first marriage age was 28 for men and 24 for women on average.
