The work on turning the Azerbaijani capital city cinema Nizami into the cinema complex of the European level has been launched in Azerbaijan.

According to sources in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the tender on conduction of a capital repair was won by Russian ISPA.
The company will equip the cinema with modern facilities and new conditioning systems.
As is reported, work for restoration of an old building, consisting of five halls, has already been launched. Under the plan the work mst complete in two years.
Traditional festivals and cinema weeks will be held in this complex after repair is complete.
On the whole, repair works will be held in over 20 cinemas of the country.
Notably, before this the Nizami cinema consisted of two halls.
