Azerbaijani appointed deputy chairman of Russian Gazprombank

Notably, Gazprombank is among the biggest universal financial institutions of Russia. The Bank is among the three larger banks of Russia and it is ranking the third in the list of the banks of Central and Eastern Europe. Over 2 million individuals and 43,000 legal entities are among the customers of the bank.

The new deputy chairman Famil Sadikhov graduated from the State Academy of Administration of Orjonikidze and Russian Tax Academy, is a candidate of economic science. From 1995 until 1999 he worked at different state positions in the Russian Finance Ministry and Federal Road Service.

In 1999-2004 he was deputy Russian Minister of Taxes and Collections. During this work, in 2002, he was called the 2 rang state adviser of the tax service of Russia. In 2005-2009 Sadikhov was deputy chairman of the Federal Chancellery.
