06 February 2009 [18:35] - TODAY.AZ
Azerbaijan and Switzerland will make a new film. The film will be made in "Dervish" Producing Center and financed by Switzerland. Producer of the film Ali Isa Jabbarov told APA that the film would be directed by Asif Rustamov. Jabbarov said the film director decided to make the film in a mountainous village. The film will deal with the social state of the people living in the mountainous village.

"The film makers should study the mentality of the people. Local people will also be filmed, it will make the film more natural. It is impossible to record their voices in the studio, so their voices will be recorded lively. It was also used in the film made by Konchalovski "The Story of Asya Klachina, Who Loved a Man but Did Not Marry Him". Except the leading roles, all the characters were the residents of the village. There will be no professional actors in our film. The village residents will play the roles. This style has been used in western cinematography for a long time, but for Azerbaijani cinematography it is new," he said.

The producer said the shooting would finish by the end of February. Editing and other technical works will finish early in April. The presentation ceremony of the film will be held in May.
