Films of Armenian, Azerbaijan and Georgian students demonstrated in Yerevan

The demonstration of short films, produced in the framework of the project "Workshop on the crossroads" of the Internews public organization was held at the Moscow House yesterday.
The project has been implemented since 2006 and is aimed to create conditions for the students of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia of the journalism and film directors' faculties to be able to communicate on the professional level and work on films together. A group includes two students from different countries. The films are about seven minutes in length.

The ceremony of awarding best films of the project was held at the Tbilisi film festival Rustaveli in February of this year.

The prize "Best film of the festival" went to the short film Stop, created by Dachi Ichuaidze (Georgia) and Meline Akopyan (Armenia). The film speaks of Georgians pacifists that wear face masks "in order not to breathe in military ideas".

The main prize in the nomination "Actual topic" went to Ecolabirinth, speaking of the problems of Tekhut woods. The authors of the film are Ani Yegiazaryan and Vafa Cafarova.
