European Youth Foundation ready to support Azerbaijani youth organizations: EYF head

Recently, many youth organizations of Azerbaijan have cooperated with the foundation and the country's non-governmental organizations (NGO) have received over 17 grants from France in 2007, Lazaro said.

The European Youth Foundation head positively assessed activity of youth organizations at a local level.

The foundation supports youth organizations in journalism and is ready to assist in these projects in future, he said.

"The NGO must submit proposals to us and we will decide whether to support them after examination," Lazaro said.

The EYF head met with Azerbaijani NGO officials during his visit.
