Official of Azerbaijan's presidential administration: Intellectual level of some mass media representatives does not go beyond the frames of narrow minded and limited kitchen rhetoric

"It is clear to us that the transformation of the current period, lays definite charges. This is particularly relayed to mass media environment. We should confess in open that we lack professional and creative journalists dramatically.

In the result, the Council of Press issues a list of recketeering newspapers almost every week. We are glad that journalists are also fighting against this. I think, all of us-powers, opposition, media, face a task to develop and improve the level of press, bring it to the standards, adopted in the developed states", said Aslanov.

According to him, in this context the activity of the Council of support of the press development will make an invaluable contribution to the formation of a qualitatively new media in Azerbaijan.

"I am sure that all of us want to read qualitative news and analysis and not lies and provocations", concluded the official.
