01 May 2009 [08:41] - TODAY.AZ
Residents of the Dashtad village of Marneuli region of Georgia were surprised at the reports from Baku about their fellow villager Farda Asad oglu Gadirov's shooting at people at the Oil Academy.
Dashtad residents said Farda has never been aggressive.

"He was always calm, even closed guy," Farda's aunt Rana Gadirova said. She said five months ago Farda was in the village and said that it intends to go to the Caspian Sea to earn money.

Farda Gadirov moved from Georgia to Azerbaijan four years ago and he visited native village from time to time.

Aunt said she can not understand how it could happen.

Villagers said Farda was very calm and that he was from a believer family. His uncle Habib Gadirov is known as rural sponsor. He built a mosque in the village.

The villagers spent whole day at Gadirov's home and hope that the investigation in Baku will make everything clear.
