Azerbaijani scientists took part in 320 international events last year

Addressing to the meeting AMEA president Makhmud Kerimov said that for the past year international scientific relations of the Academy expanded much and bilateral co-operation agreements were signed with a range of countries.

“Last year the AMEA scientists participated in 140 international scientific conferences, 150 symposiums and 130 seminars. Besides, scientific conferences were arranged in Baku with involvement of foreign scientists,” Kerimov said.

AMEA also took part in a range of grant projects of international organizations NATO, UNESCO, INTAS, CERN and was awarded grants.
