Presentation of "State program on chess development in Azerbaijan for 2009-2014" held in Baku

The event was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, President of the Chess Federation of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov, deputy minister Ismail Ismaylov, deputy minister of education Elmar Gasimov and other sport leaders.

Along with the abovementioned functioning, vice president of the Chess Federation of Azerbaijan Faik Hasanov, head coach of the Azerbaijani team Fikret Sideifzade, as well as journalists Shahriyar Mamedyarov, Rashad Babayev, Azer Mirzoyev and others spoke to the representatives of the chess public of the country and reporters.

Azad Rahimov and Elman Rustamov spoke of the regulations of the state program and the way it will be implemented. As for chess players they voiced hope that great support will be provided to chess players.

Elman Rustamov said to this: "All your remarks will be taken into account. Express them in written. The support to chess players will further be intensified. We will define the scales of this assistance later. I think the creation of a club to represent Azerbaijan in the international arena will also be settled".
