On Russian National Day of June 12 "Justice for Khojaly" International Campaign releases an online version of new edition of “Bloody pool of Karabakh” by Prof. Youri Pompeyev, well known Russian writer and journalist.
The book written as belletristic novel based on meticulous research of Soviet archives, unknown historic documents and the author’s interviews with the main actors of Karabakh drama depicts the tragedy of two peoples drawn into the deadly conflict which Armenian separatists and their patrons in Soviet leadership have inflamed in the Caucuses starting a bloody aggression in Nagorno Karabakh. The “Bloody pool of Karabakh” is a first part of trilogy being followed by “Khojaly, bloody history” and “Vale days”. This fist part of Pompeyev’s independence investigation analyzes backstage forces which pushed the conflict, Gorbachev’s connection with pro Armenian lobby advocating for annexation of the part of Azerbaijani territory and the events which led to tragedy in Khojaly, the worst massacre of the Caucasian war.
