Chairman of Azerbaijan’s supreme court meets GTZ representatives

Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev met program manager at the German society for technical co-operation (GTZ) Zeno Reichenbecher and newly appointed director of “Support of Legal and Judicial Reforms in Azerbaijan” project Anja Konigsmann on July 9.

Rzayev spoke of reforms in Azerbaijan`s judicial system.

He also touched upon Azerbaijan-GTZ cooperation, praising it as “successfully developing”.

“We have been implementing a number of successful joint projects.”
“German experts played a key role in improving Azerbaijan`s judicial system,” added Rzayev.

Reichenbecher and Konigsmann praised Azerbaijan`s moves towards modernizing its judicial system.

Following the meeting, the GTZ representatives viewed the supreme court`s building.
