Book on 40th anniversary of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev’s accession to power presented

The book published by Heydar Aliyev's Heritage Research Center includes 40 speeches made by the National leader and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The book covers Heydar Aliyev's oath-taking ceremony, foreign and interior policy, Azerbaijan-Armenia Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, economy, oil strategy, army building culture, education, as well as different fields of his activities.

The book begins with Aliyev's statement in connection with the January 20 tragedy, which he made in Azerbaijan's representative office in Russia on January 21, 1990. Heydar Aliyev sharply criticized former USSR's authorities in his statement.

Participants in the ceremony appraised the book, saying it as a valuable source for researches, political scientists and students.
