Azerbaijani airports take steps to detect swine flu

These devices take body temperature when passing through customs post, first deputy chairman of ASCC Asgar Abdullayev said.

So far, such devices have been installed in airport customs points. Later on, it is planed to install devices in all checkpoints nationwide Abdullayev said.

Abdullayev said they work together with the Azerbaijani Health Ministry and Agriculture Ministry.

Checking people coming America where swine flu is widely spread has been intensified in all checkpoints of the country, he added.

Until now, the checkpoints have not detected any swine flu case, Abdullayev said.
