Georgian Ministry, Azerbaijan State Committee for Diaspora to cooperate

Mirzayev made a proposal about cooperation on reintegration issues. Najafov welcomed the proposal and said he would deliver it to the chairmanship of the committee.

The future integration of Azerbaijanis into the Georgian society, prospects of Azerbaijani youth in Georgia, their participation in the development of the state-building and government institutions were discussed at the meeting.

The Ministry for Reintegration said it welcomed the Georgian language courses for the Azerbaijani people and would assist the Azerbaijani schools in Georgia to increase the hours of national language lessons due to the increased interest.

The State Committee official said they are looking forward to meet with Georgian State Minister for Reintegration Temur Jakobashvili and to address the problems of Azerbaijanis.
