Caucasus Muslims Office concerned with illegal use of "Halal" brand

"Halal" brand is issued only upon the recommendation of the Caucasus Muslims Office. However sometimes fake food products are sold under this brand. For this reason, people cannot distinguish between genuine products branded "Halal" and false ones, deputy chairman of the CMO Haji Salman said at the 12th meeting of the organization.

Haji Salman appealed to the State Committee for Work with Religious Associations to assist with the struggle against fake food sold under "Halal" brand.

Baku is hosting the 12th meeting of the Caucasus Muslims Office attended by 250 participants.
