Azerbaijani judo fighter will compete for bronze in European championships in Yerevan (UPDATE)

Azerbaijani judo fighter Ramin Gurbanov weighing at 81 kg lost in the quarterfinal of the European championships in Yerevan.

He lost to Georgia’s Avtandil Chikirishvili. Now he will compete for bronze with Poland’s Yakub Kubinec.

The second day of the European Judo Championships for Youth is underway in Yerevan, Armenia.

Azerbaijani judoka Ramin Gurbanov (31 kg) will struggle today. He has already held the first fight in which he defeated British Craig Stewart.

Ramin will meet with Georgian Avtandil Chrikishvili in the quarterfinals.

On the first day of the championships Azerbaijani judokas won one silver and two bronze medals.
