Admission to post-graduate studies stopped in Azerbaijan

He said that the admission to post-graduate studies was stopped as this level of education was removed from the new law on education.

“According to the law, doctorate consists of two stages. The admission to these stages has not been clarified yet. Some documents should be confirmed in the Justice Ministry,” he said.

Karimov said preliminary preparations began in ANAS on the statute of the doctorate.
“The statute should be in line with the law on education and draft law on science that will be discussed in the fall session,” he said.

Every year 150-200 people used to apply for post-graduate studies.
