Baku Metro instructed to take steps against ‘swine flu’

Baku Metro has been instructed to take steps against "swine flu."
“We have not yet received an official request from the Health Ministry to conduct disinfection in a city transport,” Baki Sarnishin Naqliyyat (responsible for public transport in Baku) Chief Samir Hasanov said.

Health Ministry senior public health official Ziyaddin Kazimov said the Sanitary and Hygiene Department he heads has not been instructed to conduct disinfection in public buses.
 
On Monday, Baku Metro Chief Tagi Ahmadov ordered measures against A/H1N1 virus, Baku Metro Spokesperson Nazakat Tanriverdiyeva said. 

“Disinfection is conducted in all trains, window and doors are cleaned in all trains after 12 o'clock at night. In addition, disinfection is also carried out in tunnels,” she said.
 
“Special boards being designed to inform passengers about symptoms of "swine flu" and precautions. Once the boards are ready, we will place them in the trains,” she added.
