Turkish-American TV opened in Washington DC

A new TV channel highlighting Turkish problems in the world and U.S. in particular was recently opened in Washington DC.
The Turkish-American TV (TATV) will broadcast via cable around the U.S.

The founders of the channel will mainly discuss Turkish successes and problems, including conflict issues like "Armenian genocide", Cyprus, Nagorno-Karabakh and others.

Channel will air shows on historical, social, cultural matters. TATV will broadcast in Turkish and English.

Most of the employees of the channel are working voluntarily.

They say that they have two potential audience –Turks and Americans.

Turks want their voice to be heard, Americans want to know more about the Turkish culture.
