Azerbaijani human rights commissioner meets head of EU delegation

Human rights commissioner of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova has met today head of the European Union delegation Roland Kobia.
Suleymanova briefed Kobia on the workings of the Ombudsman`s Office.
She said the Office was established as part of Azerbaijan`s commitments towards the Council of Europe.

According to Suleymanova, the Office has cooperation with government structures, NGOs, mass media and national human rights institutions abroad.

Roland Kobia, in turn, said the EU delegation was keen on cooperation with the Ombudsman`s Office.
