Virtual library reading rooms of thesis works opens in Azerbaijan

Opening of virtual reading hall of maintained thesis works of candidates and doctors of sciences has been held today in the Azerbaijan National Library named after Mirza Fatali Akhundov.

The Ministry of Culture & Science reports that the library base contains currently 1,300 thesis works and author’s summaries.

“Presently the National Library composes 7,842 thesis works in Azeri and foreign languages, including 1,300 added to virtual base,” it was reported.

At the ceremony it was made a proposal to create virtual reading rooms in country’s regions as well.
