Some 2,220,230 sq. m. of area was cleared from mines and unexploded ordinances in Azerbaijan in March, 2010, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA) said.

ANAMA revealed and detonated 3,289 unexploded ordinances and mines and also 18 anti-tank mines last month.
Some 425 specialists, 115 assistant staff, 6 mechanized mine clearing vehicles and 30 mine detector dogs were involved with the mine-sweep operations.
So far, 28,498,893 sq. m. of area was demined and 607,950 unexploded ordinances were detonated.
The ANAMA carries out demining operations in Tartar, Agdam, Fuzuli, Agstafa, Gadabay and Goygol regions of Azerbaijan and in Garadagh district of Baku.
No mine/unexploded ordinance explosion was registered in March.
