European Youth Forum held consultations on education in Azerbaijan

The European Youth Forum held consultations in education in Azerbaijan. The Forum Working Group held a meeting at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sport on Friday.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev said that 5,000 Azerbaijani students will be educated abroad in accordance with the state program to train young people abroad (2007-2015).

Over the last year and within four months of this year about 1,3 million manat was allocated for 110 projects related to youth. "This once again shows the special attention of the Azerbaijani state to youth policy", deputy minister said.

The working group on education with participation of ten representative offices of youth organizations working in European countries (Belgium, Austria, Italy, Greece, Holland, Germany, Denmark) operates in Azerbaijan.
