"Observing the flight" art exhibition opened at Museum of Modern Art of Azerbaijan - PHOTOS

The event was attended by the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the National Aviation Academy, Academician Arif Pashayev, Chairman of the Union of Painters Farhad Khalilov, Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev and others.

The exhibition was opened by Rector of the Baku branch of Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov, Honored Scientist of Azerbaijan, artistic director of the ÜNS Theater, Professor Nargiz Pashayeva.

"This is a wonderful exhibition of eight professional, masters of their work. It seems that everyone can take brush in hand and draw a picture, but not everyone can give them an extraordinary spirit, to create a unique image and unusual perception. Such a person must have a divine gift and artistic vision of the world to share his/her works not only as a range of colors, but also to show his/her inner world, a heart beating," said Nargiz Pashayeva.

The exhibition includes sculptures of painters and paintings in the style of abstraction.

"If the sculpture of the painter often reflects the reality, the picture, executed in the style of abstract art, breaks the face of this reality and creates an entirely new aesthetics. They represent an extraordinary range of colors that can carry into the past, show the reality and move into the future. Therefore, it does not need look at these pictures with normal eyes, but think of their heart, intuition, because the harmony of the soul painters has real freedom of thought," Pashayeva said.

The authors of the ideas and the painters of the presented works are Altay Sadikhzade, Fuad Salayev, Mamed Mustafayev, Eldar Mammadov, Mikail Abdurahsanov, Shamil Buksayev, Aga Huseynov and Ali Ibadullayev.

Altay Sadikhzade expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for the construction of the magnificent Museum of Modern Art, as well as Nargiz Pashayeva for giving painters an opportunity to present their works, implement their thought.
