Azerbaijan State Oil Academy commemorates the massacre victims

Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov, rector of the University Siyavush Garayev, teaching staff and students of the University laid wreaths before the portraits of the deceased.

Azerbaijani Minister of Education said that we must draw a conclusion. The work will be done to perpetuate the names of the victims of the tragedy.

On April 30, 2009 Farda Gadirov entered the Academy and opened fire on the university staff and students. As a result 12 people were killed, 13 - injured. Later on, Gadirov got surrounded by the police, and committed suicide.
