Road signs to be replaced in compliance with world standards in Azerbaijan

The Government of Azerbaijan adopted the "Rules of traffic signs on the roads."
The Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan are in charge of installing traffic signs on the roads of Baku and other settlements, as well as outside until June 2011, the website of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

According to the rules, road signs will be installed based on paragraph 61 of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic on rules of the road. Traffic signs "Directing signs" 5.20.1 and 5.20.2 are intended for preliminary indications of direction to settlements and other facilities.
